I’m very excited for Hell In A Cell 2014. Despite there being No Brock Lesnar and no WWE Championship match, this event as the potential to be Pay Per View of the year. Here are my Hell In A Cell 2014 predictions and how I would book the show.
Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella
Loser Must Become The Winner’s Personal Assistant
I don’t think this match will be as horrible as everybody thinks it’s going to be. Both of the Bellas have improved greatly in the ring which should make for a decent match between the twins. This is their first one on one pay-per-view bout, and I don’t think it will end here. I can see at least one more if not two more pay-per-view matches for the Bellas. With that being said I believe Nikki is going to cheat to defeat Brie. Then for the next month Brie will be forced to be Nikki’s personal assistant for the next 30 days. This will push Brie to a boiling point which should explode at Survivor Series, where the twins should have a rematch.
Sheamus vs. The Miz
United Sates Championship Match
The most entertaining part of this feud has been Damien Sandow. I think it would be hilarious of during the match if he switched with The Miz to take his “stunts”. I really don’t have high expectations for this match, so I hope it surprises me. I see Sheamus Brogue Kicking the “money maker” of The Miz and retaining. Which should set Sheamus up to defend the United States title against Rusev at Survivor Series.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro
2 out of 3 Falls Intercontinental Championship Match

This match has the potential to steal the show. I’m torn because both men need to be pushed and both men can benefit from this victory but, obviously only one can win. I see Cesaro getting the first fall and Ziggler getting the last two falls and retaining. Hopefully after this match both Ziggler and Cesaro will be given some direction and elevated up the card.
Big Show vs. Rusev
World’s Largest Athlete Vs. Super Athlete
This will be Rusev’s greatest challenge to date. Rusev has already shown he can lock The Accolade on Big Show, but due to Mark Henry’s interference we didn’t see whether Big Show was going to break the hold, submit, or pass out. Big Show warned Mark not to interfere in the match tonight. I believe despite Big Show’s warning Mark Henry will get involved in the match again trying to help Big Show. This will cause Big Show to be distracted from the match pleading for Mark to go to back. This sets Big Show up to turn around to be hit by a Russian Super Kick and The Accolade which will leads to Rusev’s victory. As I mentioned above Rusev’s next match should be against Sheamus at Survivor Series, where he needs to become the United States Champion.
Usos vs. Gold and Stardust
WWE Tag Team Championship
Gold and Stardust’s tag team title reign has be uneventful so far and it’s not their fault. There are not many teams in the tag division to work with. With The Usos being the only stand out babyface tag team on the main roster, I see them recapturing the tag team titles at Hell In A Cell and getting ready to face upcoming tag teams from NXT.
AJ Lee vs. Paige
WWE Divas Championship

This rivalry has been one of the better Diva rivalries we’ve seen in a long time. Paige and AJ have been putting on quality matches. I really wish they would have added a stipulation to this match such as 2 Out Of 3 Falls, Submission Only, or Fall Counts Anywhere. Either way this is still going to be a great match. I see AJ retaining and moving to a new challenger after this. Perhaps Charlotte will be called up to challenge AJ next.
John Cena vs. Randy Orton
Hell In A Cell: Winner Receives Future WWE Championship Match

All wrestling fans groaned when this match was made. I’m not thrilled about another Cena vs. Orton match but, it should be a good match. They faced off inside Hell In A Cell in 2009 which was won by Orton. This go around I think Cena takes the win, which keeps him as the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and one more match with Brock Lesnar.
Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
Hell In A Cell
This will be the match of the night! The feud between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose has been compelling to watch. Dean Ambrose will have Seth Rollins trapped inside Hell In A Cell. Both men can benefit from a victory. With my prediction of Cena winning his cell, I believe Seth Rollins will win this cell. Somehow some way I see Seth slithering away with a victory. Whether it be interference from The Authority or maybe interference from Bray Wyatt. Wyatt has been off TV for sometime now. He can reemerge and start a feud with Dean Ambrose which would lead to great matches. No matter who wins I know I will be marking out for this match.
I still think AJ vs Paige should have been in the Hell In A Cell cage. Those two I believe could have pulled that off nicely. Would have been money for WWE!
