It’s that time again for the Social Suplex team to give our predictions for the next WWE Pay-Per-View, Elimination Chamber. Here’s how the team did with the Royal Rumble Predictions:

2018 Royal Rumble Prediction Record: Brian (6-0), Rich (6-0), Rance (5-1),  Ricky (4-2), Robb (4-2), Caleb (4-2), Tom (4-2), James (4-2), Josh (3-3), & Jeremy (3-3).

Here are our Elimination Chamber 2018 predictions:

Raw Tag Team Champions The Bar vs. Titus Worldwide

Jeremy: I don’t see Apollo and Titus as serious challengers. I expect The Bar to retain in quick fashion. Pick: The Bar

Brian: Props to Titus Worldwide for their expanding of the Raw tag scene, but The Bar will retain as they deserve a Mania title match after their run this year. Pick: The Bar

Ricky: I’m happy we get to see a new tag team challenge, but I think it will be The Revival vs. The Bar at Mania. A title change now for The Bar to win it back before Mania makes no sense to me. Pick: The Bar

Rich: The Bar will retain. Titus Worldwide seems like they are on the rocks, and The Bar has been a model of consistency. They aren’t really exciting at the moment, it may be time to turn face. Pick: The Bar

Caleb: This tag title match just screams filler. I give Titus & Apollo less than zero chance here. The Bar retains. Pick: The Bar

Robb: Apollo (Crews) can’t lose, but expect The Bar to take this after a gutsy performance. They’re too strong to not head to Wrestlemania as champs. Pick: The Bar

Tom: The Bar is my pick, but props to Titus Worldwide for somehow becoming Raw’s top babyface tag team. The less Titus is in this match the better it’ll be. With that said, URAH! URAH! URAH!  Pick: The Bar

Jordan: There was no clear-cut challenger for the Raw Tag Team Champions until this past Monday Night Raw. Titus & Apollo do have a win over the champs but I think The Bar is going to retain at Elimination Chamber. Pick: The Bar

Rance: Even though this match may be a last-minute addition to the card, it is been in the making for weeks.  Titus O’Neil and Apollo (don’t call me Crews) have beaten Cesaro and Sheamus twice in non-title competition.  I really like this mini push that Apollo seems to be getting.  He’s shown a renewed fire and more personality than he ever has since being signed, and it seems to show in his performances as of late.  I believe this match is about one thing, however, and that’s getting the belts to The Revival.  I believe that Apollo and Titus actually steal a win here, becoming the new Raw Tag Team Champions, only to lose them to The Revival, leading to the obligatory multi-man match for the tag titles at WrestleMania. Pick: Titus Worldwide

James: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Pick: The Bar

Josh: The Bar is taking their straps into NOLA. Pick: The Bar

“Woken” Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt

Jeremy: Since Bray beat Matt at Raw 25, I’m expecting 50-50 booking. Which means the Woken one will render Bray OBSOLETE! Pick: Matt Hardy

Brian: Surely to the Lord above Bray will win a feud for once? Can’t see Matt winning at all. Pick: Bray Wyatt

Ricky: No real reasoning behind this pick, it’s a nothing feud. Pick: Matt Hardy

Rich: The faster Bray Wyatt can be deleted the better. However, I think in order to keep this going, Bray Wyatt will get a win. Pick: Bray Wyatt

Caleb: Truth be told I wasn’t even aware this match was on the card. For the sake of craziness, I’ll take Broken Matt. Pick: Matt Hardy

Robb: What’s the point of them fighting? Again? Does it matter? Pick: the fans when this feud is no longer booked

Tom: Honestly I don’t know. It’s a match between two guys whose gimmicks Vince McMahon just does not know how to book, and I’m weirdly excited to watch it. I’ll say Matt wins, but I think these two wind up teaming in the future. Pick: Matt Hardy

Jordan: With the rumor floating around that WWE actually licensed “Broken” content from TNA/Impact, I think Bray will pick up the win causing Matt to retreat back to the Hardy Compound where we will get a mixture of old & new segments of Matt preparing for their rematch in the “Broken Universe”. Pick: Bray Wyatt

Rance: You know how your mom told you if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all?  Nah, I’m kidding. This has been a pretty “interesting” feud, and I think we’ll all be happier when it’s over, but I give them all the credit in the world for actually giving their all.  In fact, I’d like to see a Final Deletion style end to the feud, seeing as both characters are stuck in the Great War.  But, I think Bray Wyatt wins here, only because I think the FINAL encounter will be a victory for Matt Hardy. Pick: Bray Wyatt

James: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Pick: Bray Wyatt

Josh: WWE doesn’t care about woke people. Pick: Matt Hardy

The first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match

Jeremy: I really would like to see Sasha win this, but it seems like WWE is hell-bent on keeping the belt on the two-star savior Alexa. For whatever reason, they think Bliss vs. Jax at Mania is a good idea. Pick: Alexa Bliss

Brian: Alexa to retain, thanks to some help from Nia Jax. Pick: Alexa Bliss

Ricky: Alexa Bliss vs. Nia will happen at Mania and for the same reason as the tag title match, I’m picking the champion to retain. Pick: Alexa Bliss

Rich: Not excited for this match at all. The 2 (Banks Bayley) vs 2 (James, Bliss) vs 2 (Rose, Deville) is destined to blow up, and who couldn’t see that coming from 100 miles away. Rose and Deville are zero’s as far as the big picture, Alexa Bliss has sucked the life out the championship for months, and Mickie has no chance. The only thing really interesting here if Sasha Banks will turn, but it feels like she’s getting set up to carry another gimmick match to hide everyone else. I’ll pick Alexa and hate every second of it, more on that later. Pick: Alexa Bliss

Caleb: This pick will either make or break me. I’ve got Sasha Banks narrowly winning this women’s elimination chamber. Pick: Sasha Banks

Robb: I don’t think Alexa has too much time with her strap left. I see a heel turn happening during the match, getting the Bo$$ back where she belongs. Pick: Sasha Banks

Tom: Somehow Alexa Bliss is gonna win this match. I don’t know how, I don’t know why, but I do know that Alexa Bliss just doesn’t lose for whatever reason. Pick: Alexa Bliss

Jordan: I think every woman in this match will be on their “A” game knowing that they are making history with the first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match but I think Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka at WrestleMania is what we are building to which means there is no reason to take the title off her. Pick: Alexa Bliss

Rance: This match is a tale of 3 stories: the fracturing relationship of Sasha Banks and Bayley, the inexperience and teamwork of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, and the curious team up of Mickie James and Alexa Bliss.  I think there are only 2 real possibilities for winners in this match, and it is between Alexa and Sasha.  And while Sasha winning and having a match with Bayley at WrestleMania for the championship will be a great match to watch, I don’t think that story works coming out of the Chamber.  In fact, I see Bayley eliminating Sasha, leading to the much-anticipated Banks heel turn.  There’s no way Mandy or Sonya win so that only leaves Alexa, who will surely turn on Mickie to win. In fact, I think Mickie is the last eliminated. Pick: Alexa Bliss

James: Sasha has flashed intriguing heel tendencies, starting at the rumble, and wrestled 2 very good Raw matches against Asuka and Bayley that both had fun segments to set up each bout. So what? #AlexaWinsLOL Pick: Alexa Bliss

Josh: It would seem dumb to take the title off of Alexa Bliss 1 month away from Wrestlemania 34, after an 8-month reign (ignoring Sasha’s 9-day reign). Pick: Alexa Bliss

Asuka vs. Nia Jax

Jeremy: Nia is not ready for Asuka. Nobody is ready for Asuka. Asuka gets the win and challenges Charlotte for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Pick: Asuka

Brian: Bliss tries to help Jax to return the favor (I think Women’s Chamber will go on before this match), but she messes up instead, costing Nia the match. Pick: Asuka

Ricky: Nia Jax won’t be the one to end the streak and Asuka losing here would be stupid and kill her momentum heading towards Mania.  Pick: Asuka

Rich: I think a bunch of overbooking is on deck. I’ve got Alexa costing Nia the match unintentionally keeping the streak alive, and Nia Jax interfering in the chamber to help Alexa retain so she can be the one that defeats her after Asuka chooses Charlotte. Kind of like when Austin was stopping guys from beating Owen Hart until he could win the IC title back from him. Alexa has to go, I’m done bruh. Nia vs Alexa is gonna suck too for the record. Pick: Asuka

Caleb: Asuka vs. Nia is kind of a wild card but I expect Asuka to win this one without any controversy before heading for SmackDown to look strong brother. Pick: Asuka

Robb: Since I have Bliss losing her strap, don’t expect Nia to come out on top either. Besides, why would Asuka lose? Pick: Asuka (who challenges Charlotte at Wrestlemania)

Tom: I’m picking Asuka, and Asuka really should win this match. She’s never lost, and WWE isn’t stupid enough to end an undefeated streak a month before Wrestlemania, right? RIGHT??? Pick: Asuka

Jordan: While I believe this will be a good match put on by 2 great performers, I think it is very unlikely that they will end Asuka’s undefeated streak. They are booking Jax extremely strong in the build-up which I love, but that is also usually a telling sign that she isn’t going over. Pick: Asuka

Rance: I actually have some intrigue in this match, despite the obvious. Let’s get real; Asuka ain’t losing. But, they can be creative in how the book this match to allow what I’ve predicted all this time to be a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania between the undefeated Asuka, the unstoppable Nia, and the cowardly champion Alexa. In fact, I see this match being a no contest so that both women are protected. Match ends in a no contest. Pick: No Contest

James: I understand that Charlotte’s undefeated pay-per-view streak was ended, last year, at the PPV that preceded Wrestlemania 33. However, I don’t think stupid will strike at the same time of the year twice. Pick: Asuka

Josh: They cannot end Asuka’s streak here. Period. Pick: Asuka

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match (Winner to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania)

Jeremy: We all know it’s been heavily rumored for a long time that the Wrestlemania 34 main event is scheduled to be Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. WWE has been trying to throw us off by having Roman lose several big matches. No matter how much they have Roman lose, they’re not working me! The big dawg will win and main event his 4th consecutive Wrestlemania main event. Pick: Roman Reigns

Brian: Double Pin between Seth and Roman to end in a draw. It’s been done recently but I think they’ll do this to get Seth into the Mania main event. Pick: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

Ricky: We all want Seth to win, but I don’t think Vince will change his mind from going with Brock vs. Roman at Mania. He’s had this planned for a long time and won’t bow down to fan pressure like he did when Daniel Bryan win the title at Mania. Pick: Roman Reigns

Rich: There are a few certainties in life. 1. One day you’re going to die. 2. The Government will chase you down for your taxes. 3. WWE will bend over backward to hand the Wrestlemania Main Event to Roman Reigns. We’ve known about it for a year, and not a damn thing is stopping this. WWE has delayed the inevitable as long as they could, holding off on crowning Strowman at least twice, to do a coronation….again. With everyone else in the match essentially spoken for, the only piece left to fall into place is Roman Reigns. Anything else is lunacy. Pick: Roman Reigns

Caleb: Roman Reigns v. Brock Lesnar in New Orleans has been pre-destined for a year. That doesn’t change here. Pick: Roman Reigns

Robb: A part of me wants to say something is going to swerve and CrossFit Jesus is awarded due to his stunning RAW performance. But, we already have our AJ/Nak dream match so…Pick: Roman Reigns

Tom: Reigns is going to win, and at this point, I’m fine with that. WWE have done a really good job building to Lesnar vs Reigns without making that the only thing happening at the top of Raw’s card, and Reigns winning the chamber gives that match a little more heat. Pick: Roman Reigns

Jordan: I want to be wrong about this one so bad! Please Vince, anyone but Roman! In all likelihood though, Roman defeating Brock for the Universal Title will close out WrestleMania which means Roman goes over in the Chamber. #LOLRomanWins Pick: Roman Reigns

Rance: This match instantly got an upgrade when Seth Rollins was added and it became a 7-man Elimination Chamber.  Given his star-making performance on Raw in the gauntlet match, Rollins instantly became a favorite.  I’ve been clear from day one – I do not believe the Roman Reigns VS Brock Lesnar rumor.  I don’t doubt that it’s been talked about and even maybe scheduled at one point, but nothing on WWE TV has led to this match being a possibility.  This Elimination Chamber should lead to 3, maybe 4, WrestleMania matches.  I think that will be The Miz VS Demon Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship, Roman Reigns VS Seth Rollins in a grudge match, and Brock Lesnar defending his Universal Championship against my pick to win the Elimination Chamber. – Braun Strowman Pick: Braun Strowman

James: Everything on TV points towards a Strowman victory inside the chamber, but they gave him the kiss of death this week with that gauntlet match victory on the go-home episode of Raw. Roman has done so much losing of late that it borders on malpractice and presents 2 likely scenarios: Reigns being phased down to help build the 2nd tier acts on the brand or getting a revived push in the short run to New Orleans and the Universal title. I’ll bet on the latter. Pick: Roman Reigns

Josh: Reigns vs Brock has been on the docket for almost 3 years. Nothing (outside of a possible steroid accusation) gets in the way of that. Pick: Roman Reigns
