Muzza here with a preview of the Best Of Super Juniors and World Tag League final.

1st Match: CHAOS (Toru Yano, SHO and Robbie Eagles) vs Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens and Taiji Ishimori)

Our first match kicks off with CHAOS vs. Bullet Club action. Toru Yano finished WTL with 10 points alongside Ishii. This night he will team with SHO and Robbie Eagles who both put in strong performances in BOSJ.

Fale and Chase finished lower on the block with only 6 points but have a new Tag Team Finisher in The Grenade Launcher (Fale’s Grenade followed by a German Suplex). Meanwhile, Junior Champ Ishimori just missed out on winning BOSJ. This should be a fun enough opener with Bullet Club no doubt cheating to get a win.

Prediction: Bullet Club picks up the win.

2nd Match: Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Toa Henare vs The Empire (Will Ospreay, The Great-O-Khan, and Jeff Cobb)

Our next match sees Okada and Ospreay’s feud continue heading into Wrestle Kingdom. Tanahashi and Henare finished bottom of their WTL Block with only 2 points. Their first match in WTL was against O-Khan and Cobb, so Tana will be looking at getting revenge on O-Khan for injuring his leg near the start of the tournament. This should be a big-time match. Many are wondering what The Empire has planned next with Cobb mentioning “Hatchet” could this be a 4th member?

Prediction: The Empire win

3rd Match: L.I.J (Shingo Takagi and SANADA) vs Bullet Club (EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi)

Tag Record (0-1)
Last Meeting: NJPW: Best Of The Super Juniors & World Tag League 2020 Night One: EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi beat Shingo Takagi and SANADA (12:20)

This is a rematch from World Tag League. Their match at the start of WTL saw EVIL pin former tag partner SANADA. Now they face off again. Many people thinking this will lead to a Wrestle Kingdom singles match between the two.

Shingo is another man who EVIL could target with the two never facing off in a singles match. Hopefully, if we get no interference and no use of the garrote wire, this can be a fun match.

Prediction: L.I.J pick up the win

4th Match: Kota Ibushi and Master Wato vs L.I.J (Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI)

1st time Tag meeting

The final preview tag match before the two finals features the newly dubbed (by myself) Way To The Golden Star taking on Double Champ Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI. Ibushi and Naito have been off most of the tour but came back in Kagoshima for a 6-man tag which L.I.J won. Wato and BUSHI also faced off in BOSJ where BUSHI won. With Ibushi and Naito set for Night one of Wrestle Kingdom, this preview should be a fun little match to help hype up the Night One Double Title Match.

Prediction: Way To The Golden Star pick up the win

5th Match: World Tag League Final: FinJuice (Juice Robinson and David Finlay) vs G.O.D (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa)

Tag Record (Overall): 2-5
Tag Record (2020): 2-1
Tag Record (in WTL): 1-2
Longest Meeting: NJPW: Best Of The Super Juniors & World Tag League 2020 Night One: FinJuice Beats G.O.D (16:42)
Shortest Meeting: NJPW: G1 Climax 2018 Night One: G.O.D Beats FinJuice (6:13)

The first of two final matches, is a Tokyo Dome Rematch as last year’s winners FinJuice take on Guerillas Of Destiny. G.o.D enters their 4th World Tag League final being in it in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Despite being multiple-time Tag Team Champions they have never won World Tag League and this year they are on a mission to take home the trophy.

FinJuice had a bumpy start and has finally strung together some wins and want to show they are the best team in New Japan. These two have already faced off three times this year. FinJuice will want revenge after G.O.D beat them for the tag belts back in January. They’ll also be looking to win their second consecutive World Tag League. This should be a fun tag match to see who will go to Tokyo Dome and challenge Dangerous Tekkers for the IWGP Tag Titles.

Prediction: G.O.D win and become World Tag League winners 2020

6th Match: Best Of The Super Juniors 2020 Final: Hiromu Takahashi vs El Desperado

Single’s Record (Overall): 1-20-1
Single’s Record (after excursion): 1-2
Last Meeting: NJPW Best Of The Super Juniors & World Tag League 2020 Night 3: El Desperado beats Hiromu Takahashi (23:10)
Longest Meeting: NJPW Kizuna Road 2018 Night 3: Hiromu Takahashi beats El Desperado (28:16)
Shortest Meeting: NJPW Best Of The Super Juniors 2018 Night 4: El Desperado beats Hiromu Takahashi (22:48)

The main event pf the evening will be The Ticking Time Bomb Hiromu Takahashi taking on one half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, El Desperado. These two have a love-hate relationship that goes way back to when they were Young Lions. Overall Hiromu has only managed one victory over Despy back in 2018 but Despy has pinned Hiromu twice this year.

Despy has been in Hiromu’s head for most of the year. However, with the biggest junior tournament on the line Hiromu will do anything (and Muzza means anything) to win this tournament.

Prediction: Hiromu Takahashi wins the 2020 Best Of The Super Juniors.

Who do you think will win World Tag League and Best Of The Super Juniors and what matches you hope to see come out of this at Wrestle Kingdom?
