WWE 2K16 : Everything We Saw In The “Oh Hell Yeah” Trailer
On September 21st, 2K Sports released their WWE 2K16 “Oh Hell Yeah” trailer, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Set for release on October 27th, this year’s edition looks to right the wrongs of last years game, and carve it’s own niche as a special release in the lineage of WWE Video Games.
Feel free to check out over 70 Screenshots from my buddies over at The SmackDown Hotel
The trailer featured numerous incredible samples of gameplay. I’m just going to run down a few of the highlights.
We opened up with an awesome shot of Brock Lesnar walking out on the Wrestlemania 31 stage, pyro in tow, and transitioned into Seth Rollins, rocking his Wrestlemania gear, and new for this year, WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It only got better from there.
Following him were awesome renders of Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, The New Day, and Cesaro.
Various Shots
Finn Balor looked God-Like in the trailer, as he was in full demon mode during his first appearance, while Natalya looked a little cartoonish for my taste.
From there we transitioned into Randy Orton, and the “You Look Stupid” Version of Sheamus braided beard and all before we saw the best looking character traditionally, HHH.
Dolph Ziggler and Rusev’s entrance attire is well represented. I remember when Rusev walked out at Wrestlemania looking like he was of the Berlin Wall era Soviet Union and that jacket looking great.
Daniel Bryan, was controlling the crowd in his typical YES fashion, and yes Bryan is getting the first title shot, on the first Monday Night Raw of my Universe.
We got a bit of extended play when Kevin Owens DDT’ed Finn Balor in the aisle of the NXT Arena, and Neville unleashed his Red Arrow on Wade Barrett. From there we saw numerous rivalries spotlighted, like Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose and The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar.
Then we saw everyones favorite Diva…EVA MARIE!!
In a really cool moment, we saw a frame by frame comparison of DDP’s Diamond Cutter, and Randy Orton’s RKO. I’m picking those guys as a tag team and stacking finishers. The same thing happened with Triple H & Seth Rollins’ Pedigrees.
Bret Hart looked extremely life like, well over a 4/10 in my estimation. We saw a classic DX reunion with Shawn Michaels and HHH before the music switched and we went over to the Stone Cold portion where different clips from his mode were shown, along with a fantasy duel between he and Seth Rollins.
But just when we thought it was over, this guy appeared….
Oh yeah…Give Me The Big Gun!
All in all, the trailer should hold us all over until October 27th. What are your thoughts on the trailer let us know here below! Make sure to check out the screenshots over at The Smackdown Hotel
