Rich Swann & Sasha Banks vs. Noam Dar & Alicia Fox (Mixed Tag Team Match)

Winner: Rich Swann & Sasha Banks

Why: In this feud, everybody has been trading wins. One week Sasha wins, next week Alicia wins. One night Swann wins, next night Noam wins. Since Dar picked up the last win on this week’s 205 Live I’m seeing Sasha and Swann getting the win on Sunday.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. Austin Aries (Submission Match)

Winner: Neville

Why: I had a hard time with the prediction for this match. On one hand, I can see Aries picking up the win. This is his 3rd title match and he has yet to win championship gold since he’s been in WWE. The one thing that stopped me from picking Aries were the options for potential challengers for him. Right now there are no heels in the cruiserweight division (besides Neville) who have any heat or momentum.

On the other hand, with Neville retaining there are a few babyfaces that are ready to step up such as Tozawa and Cedric Alexander. Neville has carried the brand and I have a hard time picturing 205 Live and the cruiserweight division without The King on the Throne.

Raw Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz vs. Cesaro & Sheamus (Steel Cage Match)

Winner: Cesaro & Sheamus

Why: The Hardys have dominated this feud and haven’t lost yet since they’ve returned to WWE. Cesaro & Sheamus need to pick up a win here. Because The Hardys have been booked so strong I wouldn’t be surprised to see a screwy finish with Cesaro & Sheamus escaping through the door.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley (Kendo Stick on a Pole Match)

Winner: Alexa Bliss

Why: I’ve never been a big fan of “item on a pole” matches. They usually end up being clusters. I would have preferred for them to just have a straight up kendo stick match. The whole story going into this match is that Bayley can’t get extreme. Having a kendo stick match or any other kind of Extreme Rules match would have given Bayley to prove she can get extreme and she’s just not smiles and hugs.

After the horrible “This is Your Life” segment on this past week’s Raw, I can’t see this feud recovering. Bliss needs to win and she and Bayley need to go in separate directions. The Raw creative team has done Bayley no favors since her call up. They need take her out the title picture and re-evaluate the game plan for her. Bliss’ next program should be with Sasha.

Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (If Ambrose is disqualified, he will lose the Intercontinental Title)

Winner: Dean Ambrose

Why: Since this stipulation was created to put Dean’s back against the wall, I think he’ll find a way out. I’m seeing Dean somehow outthinking Miz which will cause Miz to get disqualified.

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Samoa Joe (Extreme Rules Fatal 5-Way Universal Title No. 1 Contender’s Match)

Extreme Rules 2017

Winner: Seth Rollins

Why: This was another hard match to predict. Literally, anyone could win and it could lead to an interesting match with Brock in July. However, I think the best scenario would be for Rollins to win.

I’m a big Samoa Joe fan and think him versus Brock would an amazing hard hitting affair, but I don’t think Joe has been built up to that level.

Bray Wyatt is lost cause in my mind. All that hocus pocus and mumble rapping are not going to be effective against Brock.

The rumor mills claim that the planned main event for Wrestlemania 34 is Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar, so if those rumors are true Reigns is not winning here. Even though I think Reigns/Brock would be a great main event for Summerslam.

Finn Bálor would be my backup pick. I just don’t think it would be beneficial to have Bálor face Lesnar this early into his return. The last Rollins/Lesnar match was interrupted by a returning Undertaker. We were robbed of what could have been an outstanding match. If I had the pencil, for July I would book Rollins/Lesnar, Joe/Reigns, and Bálor/Wyatt.
