WWE Survivor Series 2016 Predictions
I’m back and ready to make some predictions! This Survivor Series has not had the greatest build. All three of the traditional Survivor Series matches all have the same storyline with no stakes. I think a great stipulation would have been the brand them wins the most matches gets the number 30 spot for the Royal Rumble. It will be interesting to see who they try and protect in all these matches. Here are my Survivor Series 2016 predictions:
WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick vs. Kalisto (If Kalisto wins, SmackDown LIVE gets the entire Cruiserweight division)
This is the match with the least amount build on the show and the match fans will care about the least. With the announcement of 205 Live being taped after Smackdown on Tuesdays. I think it’s pretty safe to say Kalisto wins and brings the division to Smackdown just so the Cruiserweights are only booked on Tuesdays.
Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Sami Zayn
I think like my most people, I really wanted to see Ziggler vs. Zayn. That could have been the match that stole the show. There are several scenarios they can do with the finish of this match. Personally, I see Zayn winning the Intercontinental title, but instead of taking the title back to Raw he ends up on Smackdown. I don’t think it’s necessary Raw for to have two mid card titles. However, with the Cruiserweight title going to Smackdown I wouldn’t be surprised if they do send the IC title over to Raw.
Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match
I can see the New Day and American Alpha being the sole survivors for this match. If I was booking I would give American Alpha a big win. However, New Day has beaten like a drum the last few weeks. So I think New Day will end up with the win.
Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Women’s Elimination Match
Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men’s Elimination Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg
When I first heard that his match was being booked I was not happy at all, but I have to admit that they have done a great job building this match. This match has the best build on the whole card. I’m not expecting a 5-star classic out of these two. I expect a lot of suplexes, clotheslines, punches and kicks. I think the right thing to do is have Lesnar win since he will be here after Survivor Series. 99% of me thinks that’s the way they’re going to book it. However, there is 1% of me that feels like Goldberg is going to win and they’re going to try to sign him for a Mania match.
