WWE TLC 2015 Predictions & Analysis

by Dec 12, 20150 comments

WWE TLC 2015 is the last WWE pay per view of the year. On paper, the card looks great and we should see some great matches. The problem with this show are the storylines behind some of the matches. After this show, WWE has a lot of work to do to regain all of their viewers’ interest and make the Road to Wrestlemania 32 must see television. Here are my predictions for WWE TLC 2015.

WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match:

Lucha Dragons vs. New Day vs. The Usos

This should be a very entertaining match between three great teams. I expect to see several shenanigans from New Day throughout the match. With New Day losing several non-title matches in the past few weeks, I think the New Day will be throwing up their Unicorn horns at the end of this match and will be retaining their tag titles. Hopefully, at Royal Rumble, we get Usos vs. New Day.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose

There hasn’t been much steam to this rivalry due to Ambrose being pulled into Reigns’ feud with Sheamus and the League of Nations. I feel like it might have been better for Ambrose to go after Del Rio. These two had a great match last month at Survivor Series and I have no doubt they’ll have another great match here. Since Ambrose defeated Owens at Survivor Series, Owens will pick up the win here. Also with the rumors of Owens facing Lesnar at Wrestlemania 32 we could see a very dominating performance from Owens.

WWE United States Championship Chairs Match:

Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

This feud has been started and stopped over the last two months due to the WWE Championship tournament and Del Rio joining the League of Nations. I don’t understand why Swagger hasn’t been involved in the bigger battles against the League of Nations. On Monday, we saw that Del Rio dumped Zeb Colter which could be the set up for a swerve for Colter to help Del Rio against Swagger. Either way, Del Rio is winning this one.

8 Man Tag Elimination Table Match: Team ECW vs. The Wyatt Family

It’s 2015 and we’re having yet another ECW reunion. On a show, that desperately needs fresh faces and new stars WWE has decided to bring in Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno. I guess for this feud it works but going forward WWE needs to stop relying on part-time talent to bring excitement. I’m going with the Wyatts on this one. If WWE is smart they will have all the Wyatts remaining at the end of the match and try to rebuild them.

Ryback vs. Rusev

I like both of these guys, but I don’t like these guys in the ring together. There matches on Raw have not been good. I don’t expect this match to be any better. Rusev will win with the help of Lana.

WWE Divas Championship: Charlotte with Ric Flair vs. Paige

This feud has been so frustrating to watch. It seems like WWE creative has no idea how to book the women. They just turned Paige heel, and now it looks like they’re turning her back to a babyface and turning Charlotte heel. I expect this match to get no reaction just for the fact that nobody knows who to cheer. Paige is making light of Charlotte’s dead brother and complaining about being cheated. Charlotte is cheating to win and costing her best friend matches. Who is the hero? Who is the villain? This is going to be a mess. I expect Charlotte to retain.

WWE Championship TLC Match: Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns

Reigns and Sheamus should be a hard-hitting match. I’m sure we’ll see interference from the League of Nations and Ambrose and the Usos. Personally, I want Reigns to win this match just because I don’t want him to be in the Rumble. Unfortunately, WWE is hell bent on making Reigns their top guy. I’m sure Sheamus will win with help from the LON and Reigns will have to go to the back of the line. Which means they’ll probably have Reigns enter the Rumble at number one and win….RUFF.
